Tigert Cheer and Drill Fundraiser (21 May 2012)

The Tigert Middle School drill and cheer teams will be hosting an important fundraiser featuring "Fashions from the Past" as they model cheer uniforms and dance costumed accumulated over may years and kept in the secret room in the second story for the gym build in 1937.

Photos of drill or cheer teams from years gone by are needed for a display in the foyer of the gym. These photos may be brought to the TMS office for safe keeping and picked up at the conclusion of the evening.

Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students and children. Tickets are available from 2011-12 and 2012-13 cheer and drill team members.

Community Quilting Day (05 Jun 2012)

The Caribou Quilt Guild is sponsoring a day of teaching a quilting class called "Turning Twenty Again". Participants will need to provide their own fabric (20 fat quarters to make a queen size top), scissors, and a rotary cutter with a new blade. If a smaller quilt top is desired please ask for specifics from any guild member. This is a good class for anyone who wants to learn about quilting or for beginners who are just getting started.

A potluck luncheon will be provided for all participants by the guild members.

Caribou Memorial Hospital Foundation Golf Scramble (16 Jun 2012)

The funds raised are used to improve healthcare in Caribou County. The Foundation has given many scholarships to nursing students from Caribou County. It has recently committed to help pay for making the hospital’s old operating room into an in-service education classroom.

The entry fees for the scramble are $200 per foursome. If you’re interested in playing, but don’t have a team, please see the golf pro. The first 18 teams paid are “in,” because that’s all the players the scramble can accommodate. Register and pay early to receive a personalized bag tag to commemorate the event.

"Kids Mile" - a fun run for ages 12 and under. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult

Traditional July 4th Parade - Parade starts at Highway 30 and 2nd East.

Road Apple Roulette

City Park Activities and Food - Numerous events with Gene Lish's Grand Carnival that are free for all ages. Concessions and more at various booths all afternoon including the Lion's Club Lunch.

Mini (live) Bull Riding - watch these aspiring young bull riders (children ages 7-14) as they master this extreme sport.

Kelly Park Entertainment - Enjoy food and drinks that are available for purchase, listen to live music, and top off the night with Spectacular Fireworks!

Geyser Pride Day and Salmon Feed (11 Aug 2012)

Wild salmon will be caught in Alaska on Thursday and served on Saturday. Dutch oven potatoes, homemade rolls, a dessert and drink will be included for $10 per ticket.
