The Soda Springs High School show choir, The Soda Pops, is inviting students from grades one through eight to participate in a show choir clinic on April 25. The clinic will be held at the high school from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and the cost is $20.
Students will learn songs and choreography from the Soda Pops and will then have the opportunity to perform on stage that night. The cost of the program will include a T-shirt and a snack.
This clinic is a fundraiser for the Soda Pops Show Choir and is being held in conjunction with their spring concert Harry Potter and the Soda Pops. The concert will be held on Friday, April 24 and Saturday April 25, at 7 p.m. in the SSHS auditorium. Suggested donations for the concert are $5 per person or $20 per immediate family.
Students who participate in the Soda Pops junior clinic will receive free admission. Registration forms for the clinic can be picked up at the office of either Thirkill Elementary or Tigert Middle School. The deadline for registration is April 11. The annual Caribou County Health Fair at Caribou Memorial Hospital has been set for Thursday morning, April 30, at the facility in Soda Springs.
As in the past, there will be many booths for health education and some will have free "give-aways." The popular nominally priced clinical laboratory screenings will also be available. Those screening results are sent directly to the patient after the health fair.
As a follow up to the Aortic testing that was provided last year, CMH will be offering additional radio-logic screenings at a reduced rate for interested attendees.
Local non-profit organizations are welcome to sponsor booths related to health, as long as they aren't selling anything at the fair. Space is limited, so call either Micheal Peck, assistant administrator or Kaye Moore, HR Generalist, at 547- 3341. if you are interested in hosting a booth or any questions.
More information will be published about the health fair in the coming weeks.
Mark you calendar for April 30 and plan to attend.
