Scholarship Quickshot Bingo,
1999
PURPOSE
The Charitable Bingo
Scholarship has been established to provide limited financial
assisatance for the purpose of attending an accredited vocational
or academic institution of higher education in the state of Idaho
to a student, or students, whom will graduate from Soda Springs
High School in the academic year of 2000.
AWARD AND APPLICATION:

The Soda Springs Chamber of Commerce Bingo
Committee will award the scholarship, or scholarships, in
an amount, or amounts, to be determined from the
financial status of the Bingo Scholarship charity fund,
and the number of qualified applicants.

The awards may be paid in one sum or as two
installments, one-half at the beginning of each of the
first two attended sessions.

Students must submit their application by Friday,
April 21, 2000 to the following:

The application consists of the following
paperwork.

A one-page essay (typed) describing your financial
need and educational
goals.

Two letters of recommendation from non-family
individuals.

Documentation demonstrating fulfillment of
any course, testing, or a minimum GPA needed to
satisfy entrance requirements, for the Idaho
institution that you have chosen to attend. These
documents may be photocopied.

Applicants may be required to attend a
personal interview.

The award(s) will be made known to the
recipient(s) one week prior to commencement.

Race, religion, sex, or national origin shall not
influence the decision process. Financial
need and educational
goals will influence decisions.

The Soda Springs Chamber of Commerce Bingo
Committee reserves the right to void the and any future
awards if any local, state, or federal law is passed that
would diminish the funds, tax the proceeds, frustrate the
purpose of the award.
