Thank you to all of you who turned out for this informational seminar. I think that it went well and I would like to give a huge thank you to Travis Hopkins for his willingness to present and his generous donations of give-a-ways.

I'm not sure if I should be sad or excited that there was so much information we couldn't get through it all. I look forward to a follow up that will cover more about Publisher, Excel, and Power Point. I will keep you all informed of when the next meeting will be!

Lastly...Congratulations to our big winners! We were able to give away a Chamber T-Shirt, two $50 services from Travis Hopkins Computer Repair, Microsoft Office Professional 10, and Windows 7. Enjoy!

The Soda Springs Chamber of Commerce has launched a branding campaign / competition to define the city and surrounding area, and to bring some long, overdue cachet to its image.  We are looking for something catchy, like Hershey, Pennsylvania's "The Sweetest Place on Earth", "What Happens in Vegas...", "Cleveland Rocks", or New York's "The City that Never Sleeps".

We have almost reached the end of the campaign. So, if you have a great idea that you would like to add visit our facebook page or email us at sodacoc@sodachamber.com.

This has the potential to take away free checking accounts from members of the credit union. They are asking everyone to

please send messages to your federal legislators TODAY urging them to cosponsor S. 575 or H.R. 1081, and thanking those who have cosponsored the bills. Prewritten letters are available at the Credit Union Grassroots Action Center, where you can quickly personalize and send messages to the appropriate legislators based on the address you enter and each legislator’s cosponsorship status.
